S.V. "Minnaloushe" is owned and operated by Richard Collins, a Sherkin Islander with many years experience operating boats on the South West Coast of Ireland. She is a 42 ft ketch-rigged endurance design, powered by an 80 h.p. Ford engine. The hull was built in Cornwall and she was outfitted on Sherkin Island.
She can accommodate/sleep eight people and is fully equipped with all the navigational aids necessary for ocean voyages or coastal cruising including satellite navigation, VHF, EPIRB and radar.
