Chuck grew up in upstate New York's Finger Lakes traipsing around old Iroquois hunting and burial grounds and hearing stories. His adult life has seen him move from secondary school teacher of lit., phil., psych., & the humanities in Switzerland to denizen of an Irish island, where he writes poems and stories every morning, reads for radio in the USA and Ireland, &, afternoons, prowls cliff & cave & rabbit track.
