This CD is an index of approximately 20,000 people living in the West Cork Coastal Parishes of Abbeystrewery, Aughadown, Clear Island (Cape Clear), Creagh, Kilcoe, Kilmoe, Schull and Tullagh at the time of the 1901 Census of Ireland.

Included in these Civil Parishes are the Villages and Market Towns of Ballydehob, Baltimore, Castlehaven, Crookhaven, Goleen, Schull and Skibbereen as well as the Harbours and Islands (Known as Carbery's One Hundred Isles) surrounding these towns.
