From Bronze Age copper mines and field monuments, through the hard times of the19th and early 20th century to the affluent, but depopulated 21st century, Goleen parish "with water on three sides and looking east", has remained throughout a close, thriving community. This book chronicles aspects of life at the end of the Mizen Peninsula, the most south-westerly point of Ireland.
