Skills for Life

In learning and enjoying the skills of dancing, singing and acting, young people also learn:

  • Self-confidence.
  • To speak and move naturally and easily.
  • To work as part of a team.
  • To become more aware of themselves and others.
These are skills for life, not just for the highly successful Academy Live Performances.

Louise Warren and her staff welcome all young people with an interest in the performing arts:

'I want to leave children with a love of dance and the arts, even if they don't go away and do anything professional with it. I want them to remember us and think, 'That was a fun time, a time when I learned something valuable.'

Quality:

  • We aim for the highest quality and the highest standards in such a way that all our students enjoy the learning process while they develop their skills.

  • Full training is offered for those wanting to take Royal Academy of Dance exams.

Commitment:

  • The Academy is powered by the lifelong commitment to dance and performance shared by all our tutors - a commitment that we want to share with your children.

High Teaching Standards:

  • The Academy's Director, Louise Warren, trained in the media of theatre, dance and singing for 10 years and gained her Teaching Diploma from the Royal Academy of Dance in London, England. More recently, she has undertaken a course in the psychology of child development and learning.
